The Survivor

So Eric picked up this cherry 1950's Triumph Pre Unit for next to nothing. Without a doubt it is the Craigslist 2011 deal of the year and the year ain't even over.


Sitting in a VA hospital under some blankets for 11+ years, in storage for who knows before that. Apparently the original owner - a Vietnam Vet had it rebuilt before he put it away. Everything on the bike is solid and customized perfectly to a T.


Original stretched Harley front end, Joe Hunt magneto, Mk 2 springer rear hub to absorb thy bumps, Flanders dogbones, some brass aftermarket clamp for the front end that you can't find anywhere, beautiful blue metal flake, chrome frame, dope seat and sissy, the list goes on and on.


The best part is all we did was new fluids and a swap of the rickety 19 for a 21 front - even used the same spacers. She fired right up.
